Description
How Telegram Bot Starts and Referrals Work
Telegram Bot Starts help increase the number of accounts that start your bot. DrTelegram provides two options, depending on the link you submit.
Telegram Bot Starts
Provide your Telegram bot link, and the selected accounts will open the bot and press the Start button. This records a new bot start.
Telegram Referral Link Starts
Already have a referral link for a Telegram bot? Submit that link instead. The accounts will open the referral link and start the bot through it.
This option is suitable when you want starts to be associated with a particular referral link. Referral attribution and any rewards depend on how the destination bot handles its referral system.
Telegram Bot Starts Using Premium Accounts
DrTelegram uses Telegram Premium accounts to perform bot starts and referral link starts.
This is an important difference for customers who specifically want their bot starts to be carried out by Premium accounts.
The Premium status belongs to the accounts performing the starts. It does not mean that the bot receives a Premium subscription or that these accounts will continue using the bot after starting it.
Increase the Monthly Users Count Shown on Your Telegram Bot
Telegram can display a Monthly Users count on a bot's public profile. This figure represents the bot's monthly active users, rather than its total accumulated starts.
When accounts start your bot, their activity may contribute to this monthly figure. However, the displayed number is calculated and updated by Telegram, not DrTelegram.
Telegram only displays this information when a bot meets its eligibility requirements. The exact display threshold is not publicly specified, and the counter may take time to reflect recent activity.
Please note that bot starts do not guarantee continued usage, interactions with bot features, or a specific Monthly Users figure. The final displayed count and its availability remain subject to Telegram's systems.
